all girls... bubble tea high...
today we had our first session of all girls touch rugby... were supposed to have like 7 pple playing but last min kenna 'fang fei ji' so ended up only 5 girls played... my housemates, joyce, ross (superb player) and me... i must say that playing with girls is different.. the feeling is different man.. cos playing with guys.. hard to get our hands on the ball.. and also we don't get to run much.. hahaha cos we don't get the ball much. i wld say that we are all on an equal level when playing touch today.
our fitness sucked.. save joyce and ross... we had like so many breaks in between... hard to think i cld survive canoeing last time. gone are those '100 push ups.. down!!' days... now i can't even manage to do 20 without feeling like my arms are going to give way.. and my lungs are going to burst, from the lack of air.
it was good cos all of us got to score tries and ja is good at the game for a beginner loh.. she scored like 2 tries in a row.. ahhahah!! h**** power man!!! (those who know... u know what i'm getting at) woohooo!! and ross is just damm good lah.. doing fakes, double fakes, and even triple fakes.. ahhah!! i guess i'm the one among us who needs more work done. but then again i nv had much ball sense... i wld go as far to say that i even have ball phobia.. can't stand balls flying to close to me (and it's not parts of the male organ altho' that's like even more gross) and i wld get scared if it came directly at me. paralysed with fear... scared kenna whack in my face.
anyways, after one particularly long break, we decided to just pass the ball ard.. and then they came up with this rule that if we got faked while passing the ball.. or if we didn't clap before catching it, we had to go down on one knee first.. then the other knee.. then u have to sit on ur calves, and then finally, u have to lie on ur front with ur arms streching out and cont the passing. guess who had to lie on her front first.. (no prizes for correct guess) JA JA!!! hhaha but she was laughing so hard that she found it difficult to clap before catching the ball... hahahah ross and lau didn't get that far.. cos lau stopped playing after joyce, ja ja and me were on our fronts. but trust me... lying on ur front and trying to clap before catching the ball is no easy feat.. and to throw it to another person.. it's even worse.. didn't know how we managed it.. but it was fun.. with ja ja laughing madly.. ahhaha!! ross is damm sly.. keep faking us.. esp jaja!! that's why she lost.. (excuses... she ask me to add that) ahhahahah!!
after playing, sat ard and talk nonsense for a while.... reason why ross is so good is cos she was in touch rugby team from jjc and played in a club. cool yah... (and i'm not giving excuses for my lack of skill in touch rugby... and jaja says it's some self serving biasness or some fundemental atribution theory i dunno what the hell she talking abt... it's greek to me.. and i studied greek b4.. hmmm) erm.. b4 we parted ways, she reminded us to call her along if we had another game.. and yeah.. altho the turn out wasn't great, we had loads of fun.. hopefully we wld gather more girls to come play with us.. and eventually maybe, join the social league. then next yr can take part in uni games and get that super duper cool uwa jacket.
decided to go bubble tea-ing... and we settled our dinner there... had vege food (ja ja just said that she has hairy knees... she says it feels hairy.. i dunno why she tells me such stuff) oh yah... and ja ja got super violated today.. but details shall not be revealed in the world wide net. as i was typing... we had vegetarian fish head noodles, laksa, fragrant and mango chicken rice. as well as nice bubble tea with sago and jelly.. ahhahah!! very fulfilled... and full... and high on post touch rugby endorphines.... as well as on a post bubble tea sugar high!! ahhaha!!
overall, it was a good day at touch... oohhhh all the touching.. hee!! *winks* (ja ja just said that she loves touching me... and i don't really like it.. but much appreciated is the way she coveys her lub lub for me!!! lub u ja ja) *this blog is partially dedicated to jaja for being a wonderful lubber* sunny weather and a bit of wind, girls touching each other while chasing after an oddly shaped ball.. a perfect day!!
